Euphony Visuals — a piano visualizer that turns MIDI into 4K video
Euphony Visuals is a piano visualizer for making piano videos. Load a MIDI file or play a connected MIDI keyboard live, and it draws the performance as notes falling toward a keyboard, then exports the result as a video.
It runs as a desktop application on macOS and Windows, and in the browser with nothing to install.
The visuals: falling notes with adjustable shape, speed, colour and texture; glowing sabers along the keyboard; particle bursts and smoke from each strike; glow, bloom and lighting; and your own image or video as a background layer. Colour can follow a single hue, a gradient across the keyboard, a colour per hand so each part is easy to follow, or a colour per pitch.
Export is rendered frame by frame at up to 4K 60fps rather than screen-recorded, so the finished video is smooth even when the live preview stutters. Single frames can be saved as stills for video thumbnails.
Free to download and use, with a small watermark in the visualizer and in exported videos. A free account is needed to export. Pro removes the watermark for $8.99 per month or $74.99 per year.
